Firewood species
Prices are per cord (4ft x 4ft x 8ft) of cut and split firewood. This equals is 180 cubic feet of wood thrown loose into a trailer. Delivery included locally in the East Beaches area.
BIRCH FIREWOOD

Easy lighting, excellent heat, beautiful bright flames and long hot burning coals. It's no wonder birch is a heavyweight in the firewood world. A local favourite for weekend cottagers and year round burners alike. Approx. 22 000 million BTU per cord.
JACKPINE FIREWOOD

Jackpine is great economical choice for easy trouble free burning. It seasons very quickly, and has a wonderful aroma. It is a fantastic choice for mixing in with your hardwood. Nice quick heat output with a nice flame. Great for kindling. Approx. 19 000 million BTU per cord
WHITE POPLAR FIREWOOD

White poplar is perfect for early Spring and Fall Burning when temperatures are moderate. It is also a great wood to mix in with higher quality hardwoods. Makes a great option for backyard campfire use. Approx. 18 000 million BTU per cord

The King of softwoods, Tamarack is extremely dense and can throw amazing heat. It forms coals for great overnight burning. Very little ash. Wonderful fragrance when burnt. Burns clean and very much like a hardwood. Approx. 25 000 million BTU per cord.

Ash firewood is excellent choice for heating your home. Produces minimal smoke and ash, good quality coals for overnight burning and is not very difficult to split. Produces a very nice flame and is very clean to work with. Approx. 23 000 million BTU per cord
